Every therapy at Iskra is offered with the same intention: to create a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and feel gently supported through life's transitions.

At its heart, “holistic” means looking at the whole person, rather than just one part of them.

Our thoughts, emotions, body, energy and nervous system are deeply connected, always influencing one another.

At Iskra, our therapies work to support every part of your wellbeing. Alongside conventional healthcare, these create conditions for your mind, body and nervous system to rest, regulate and reconnect with each other.

What is Holistic Healing?

A gentle complementary therapy that creates space to slow down, reconnect and simply be.

Originating in Japan, Reiki is traditionally understood to support the natural flow of the body's life force energy. Reiki offers something that's often difficult to find in everyday life: uninterrupted space to simply rest. For many, this deep rest can support a greater sense of calm and ease, giving the nervous system space to settle and the body an opportunity to slow down. Reiki may also support relaxation, pain management, deeper rest and sleep, and a greater sense of ease in the body.

At Iskra, the experience extends beyond the Reiki itself. Each session is an opportunity to slow down, feel cared for and reconnect with your intuition, with small rituals woven throughout to create space to notice what your body, energy and inner world might be asking for.

Every session begins with a gentle conversation about what's brought you here and how you're feeling. There's no pressure to share anything you're not ready to; this is simply an opportunity for us to get to know one another and shape the session around what feels most supportive for you.

Once you're settled, you'll remain fully clothed throughout your treatment. Reiki can be received lying comfortably on the treatment bed or seated in a chair, and can be offered with gentle hands-on touch, entirely hands-off, or a combination of both. We'll always discuss your preferences beforehand, and you're welcome to change your mind at any point.

At the end of your session, we'll take a few moments to gently reflect before you continue with your day.

What is Reiki?

Whether Reiki is completely new to you or something you've experienced before, each session is an invitation to slow down, reconnect and give yourself permission to rest.

What is EFT Tapping?

Coming to Iskra in 2026

What if your body is holding onto more than you realise?

We all carry experiences that shape the way we think, feel and respond to the world. Sometimes these patterns are easy to recognise, and sometimes they've become so familiar that we no longer notice the ways they're shaping our lives.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), often known as tapping, is a gentle complementary therapy that combines focused conversation with tapping on specific acupressure points to reduce distress and shift stuck patterns.

Together, we'll gently explore what's present for you, helping to process difficult emotions, shift unhelpful patterns and create space for greater calm, clarity and resilience. Like every therapy at Iskra, each session is tailored to you, meeting you where you are and supporting you in a way that feels safe, compassionate and grounded.

We’re looking forward to welcoming EFT to Iskra in 2026!
